Valentine Cunningham is Professor of English Language and Literature at Oxford University and Senior Research Fellow at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. He specializes in Victorian literature and lectures at universities in the UK and around the world. He also broadcasts frequently for BBC Radio on particular authors and on literary, musicological, and cultural-historical topics.
