ONLINE LEARNING
In November 2022, Regent announced a new online learning policy. Effective immediately, students in Regent's MATS, MACS, MDiv, and Graduate Diploma programs will be permitted to complete up to 50% of their program credits online––a significant increase from the previous cap of 33%. This policy change will be accompanied by an expansion in the number and diversity of online learning options in Regent’s regular catalogue.
Regent has also adopted a number of time-limited policies in order to support current students who have been impacted by the pandemic:
- No courses taken between March 2020 and April 2023 will count toward the 50-percent cap on online learning.
- Regent has committed to offer online access to a sufficient number and range of courses to ensure that students who began a Graduate Diploma, MACS, MATS, MDiv, or ThM during the pandemic will be able to complete a full 50 percent of their programs online after April 2023. This commitment will extend up to the maximum completion length for each program.
