Rev. Dr. Roger Revell is a pastor and theological educator. He is currently the fourth Rector (or Senior Pastor) of Christ the King, in Pawleys Island, on the coast of South Carolina. In addition to lecturing at Regent College, he teaches in the Deacon’s College of the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina, where he also serves as the Chair of the Diocesan Board of Examining Chaplains.

Roger completed initial theological studies in Oxford and Vancouver and was awarded his PhD in divinity (moral theology) from the University of Cambridge. Before returning to full-time pastoral ministry at Christ the King, he was a post-doctoral research fellow in the Faculty of Theology & Religion at Oxford University, where he taught theology and ethics to undergraduate and graduate students and pursued research in the area of virtue ethics and characteriological approaches to leadership.
