INDS 525

Technology, Wilderness & Creation

Course Description

Embark on an eight-day voyage through the Gulf Islands in replicas of 18th-century boats. Along the way, we’ll study the impact of technologies—both traditional and modern—on the Christian life. Join us to row the waves, observe the local wildlife, sleep beneath the stars, and contemplate where our technologies are in sync and at odds with creation. This course is offered in partnership with A Rocha Canada. No previous boating experience required.
