At Regent, we believe that studying theology together should create life-long relationships as well as world-class scholars.

    Taste of the World

Students from all around the world share food and fun from their home cultures at this annual event. It’s a great way to celebrate the richness of our diverse community.

Growing Together

Studying at Regent isn't just about growing as an individual; it's about growing as a member of the body of Christ. In every way we can, we strive to be a place where people of all types can grow together through respectful, intelligent, and whole-hearted dialogue.

Our conversations and practices are shaped by the many perspectives our students and faculty bring to the table. With people from six continents, dozens of denominations, and countless vocational paths, there's plenty to talk about! We aim to have honest dialogue about our differences while remembering what binds us together––our shared commitment to Christ.

We hope our students not only experience community at Regent, but also learn to cultivate it beyond our walls. Some students share housing while they study, practicing the art of community by living it out. Many of our alumni go on to nurture creative community in their new homes and workplaces, often alongside other graduates. Many more have stories about meeting fellow alumni around the world and immediately feeling a connection—even a sense of “home.”

One of the ways we cultivate our life together is through regular events where we meet to worship, learn, play, and celebrate.

  • New Student Orientation: Meet your professors, swap stories with classmates, and get to know Regent.
  • Annual Retreat: Enjoy three days of fellowship, worship, and professor-led teaching by a lake in the Cascade foothills.
  • Public Lectures: These regular free events have made Regent a hub for respectful theological dialogue on today's pressing issues, with alumni and friends from around the world often joining us via livestream.
  • Laing Lectures: Our annual three-part lecture series featuring some of the most powerful voices in modern theology.
  • Community traditions such as Audible—which brings together songs, poems, and stories from throughout the Regent community—enliven our time together.
