Join us this summer for Wednesday Lunchtime Conversations: your chance to engage with Regent’s world-class summer faculty and special guests around ideas and questions that matter for our lives today. The speakers and topics are different each week, so there’s always something new to explore.
Topic
This week, Old Testament scholar Marion Taylor will discuss how women have interpreted Scripture throughout the history of the church. Bring your questions about this vital but often-overlooked aspect of our Christian story! Join us at noon in Room 100, and feel free to bring your lunch.
Speaker
Dr. Marion Taylor is Professor of Old Testament at Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include the reclamation of interpretive work by women throughout history. She is the author of Handbook of Women Biblical Interpreters: A Historical and Biographical Guide (Baker, 2012) and co-author of Voices Long Silenced: Women Biblical Interpreters through the Centuries (WJK, 2022).

Wednesday Lunchtime Conversations will be offered onsite at Regent College. These events are open to the public, and no registration is required.
