Join us online on Saturday, May 20 at 7:30 pm (PDT) for a free public event with Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, a renowned climate scientist and passionate advocate for Christian creation care. (Note: While initially conceived as an in-person talk, this event has been converted to a Zoom format for health reasons.)
Dr. Hayhoe will deliver a talk titled "Empowering Climate Conversations: From Anxiety and Misinformation to Inspired Action."

About the Speaker
Dr. Katharine Hayhoe is a Canadian atmospheric scientist and leading climate change researcher. Known for her technical expertise and winsome communication style, Dr. Hayhoe has gained a wide following within and beyond the evangelical world. A popular speaker and writer, she embodies both hope and realism as she aims to bring people together to address a global crisis.
Dr. Hayhoe is Chief Scientist for The Nature Conservancy and a faculty member in the Political Science Department at Texas Tech University. She is also the World Evangelical Alliance's Climate Ambassador, a UN Champion of the Environment, and a fellow of the American Scientific Affiliation.
Dr. Hayhoe's book, Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World, was released in 2021. She also hosts the PBS digital series Global Weirding, currently in its fifth season.
