About the Lecture
The critical need: to restore a vital appreciation of the Ascension of Christ in worship, personal prayer, the mission of the church, and personal vocation. We need to make the case that Ascension Day is as important in the church calendar as Christmas, or Good Friday or Easter. But this assumes that we know what the Ascension means, why it matters, and why living in the light of the Ascension is living the Gospel.
