About the Lecture
The world is so confused about what women are, and the Church is not doing a great job offering convincing answers. Dana Gioia says women then are required to be "twice rebels": insisting to the world that women are different from men while showing the church that this distinction does not mean women are secondary. Drawing from women writers from the past, a feminine path to God is illuminated, one the Church would do well to highlight.
