Join us in the Regent Chapel for Dave Siverns's IPIAT presentation, Longings & Liturgies: An Evening of Congregational Songs Inspired by Moments in the Church Calendar.
Dave will be playing through the 7 songs that he's written for the church based on 7 moments in the church calendar. Join us for an evening of music featuring a number of musicians, including Corey Janz, Brady Van Leenen, Rob Nutting, Adrienne Redekopp, and Nathan Jolly. There will be coffee and snacks after the performance.
You'll have the opportunity to hear all of the songs as well as a bit about the paper Dave wrote, drawing on the writings of James Smith, Walter Brueggeman and Jacques Ellul. In the paper, Dave develops a framework for shaping prophetic liturgies in churches.
