Beyond the Mysteries: Paul’s Proclamation of the Mystery of God
This event has now ended. Please view this page to see all our upcoming events.
Christianity found its
first footholds in a Greco-Roman world that was fascinated by the mysteries of
the deities. In that context, the Apostle Paul proclaimed a very different form
of divine mystery.
This illustrated lecture will offer an overview of typical forms of devotion to
the mystery deities and illustrate central tenets in Paul’s proclamation of the
mystery of God.
