Pastors Forum: Pastors for the Common Good
Friday, Jun 14, 2019 at 9:15AM - 11:30 AM
As pastors, we long to see the people in our pews lead coherent lives as they move seamlessly from church on Sunday into the world of work on Monday. Yet, we often struggle to know how to equip them to make this connection.
Co-hosted by Regent Exchange and Made to Flourish, Pastors for the Common Good is a pre-symposium forum for pastors and church leaders who want to explore the integration of vocation and work into their congregational life.
Tom Nelson, president of Made to Flourish will share his story as a pastor who struggled to connect faith with the everyday lives of his congregation. Tom will be joined by Isaac Wardell, director of the Porters’s Gate Worship Project, in a panel discussion about thoughtful worship practices that support and honour an integrated theology of vocation and work.
