Pastoral Theology Position

Regent College invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in Pastoral Theology to begin August 1, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The annual salary range for this position is $88,000-$125,000.

Regent is a transdenominational graduate school of theology in the historic evangelical tradition. Applicants for this position should resonate deeply with Regent’s mission and values (see http://www.regent-college.edu/about-us/mission-and-values), and must be able to subscribe without reservation to the College’s Theological Position comprised of a Doctrinal Statement and a Moral Vision (see http://www.regent-college.edu/about-us/theological-position).

The successful candidate will hold a graduate degree in theology (PhD preferred) and have extensive experience in the life and mission of the church. They should have a deep understanding of the needs, opportunities, and challenges of Christian ministry in the complex age in which we find ourselves, and the ability to engage theologically and pastorally in the formation of a new generation of ministers. They will have a demonstrated capacity to teach a range of Pastoral Theology courses at the graduate level and be able to provide leadership to the Master of Divinity (MDiv) program.
