Clive Lim
Dr. Clive Lim is the founder and Managing Director of Leap International, a family investment firm based in Singapore. He is also the founder and board member of TeleChoice International Limited, a telecom retailer and system integrator listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange. When Clive started TeleChoice International Limited in 1999, it was with a team of five employees. Today, Telechoice employs two thousand people in offices throughout Southeast Asia. Altogether, Clive has more than twenty years of entrepreneurial experience in thirteen businesses spanning from hospitality to technology.
Prior to his entrepreneurial work, Clive spent a decade in corporate business. He was the Distribution Director of Motorola Electronics, responsible for the marketing of Motorola’s mobile phones in the South Asia Region. Before that, he was the System Marketing Manager for Fuji Xerox Singapore.
Dr. Lim’s business expertise is informed by a deeply considered theology of work: his research and teaching interests include stewardship, entrepreneurship, and business leadership. Since, 2010, he has taught classes at the Biblical Graduate School of Theology in Singapore, including Vocation, Work, and Ministry, Taking Your Soul to Work, and Money & Stewardship. He has also co-taught The Church & Marketplace, The Soul of Leadership, and Money Matters with Paul Stevens at Regent College since 2015. Dr. Lim was the Visiting Associate Professor in Marketplace Theology at Regent from 2018 to 2021. Dr. Lim received his Dip. Marine Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, Masters in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management, MA from Regent College, and DMin from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
