Jonathan Pennington is Professor of New Testament Interpretation at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Additionally, he regularly serves as a visiting professor at various schools as well as church-based theological institutes. He is also one of the Teaching Pastors at Sojourn East and speaks and teaches in churches all over the country. He has a BA in History, a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a PhD from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He is the author of many books, including Reading the Gospels Wisely, The Sermon on the Mount and Human Flourishing, Jesus the Great Philosopher, Small Preaching, and Come and See.
