Registration opens today for Summer Programs 2018!
Regent College has never been much into taking summers off. If you've taken in one of our summer courses, you know that this is the college's most dynamic season. Summer is when Regent's faculty team up with other top-notch scholars from around the world to throw all their expertise into 1–2 week courses, free evening lectures, and intensive weekend conferences. It's also when our student community grows even richer as visitors from around the world join us to seek, learn, and fellowship.
With nearly 50 course offerings spanning everything from archaeology to mental health, there's something for everyone at Regent this summer. This year's renowned lecturers include the college's first president, Jim Houston, spiritual director Susan Phillips, theologian and activist D. Zac Niringiye, cultural historian Sarah Williams, award-winning filmmaker Iwan Russell-Jones, and many others. We are also expanding our offerings to include two Korean-language courses with Min-Dong Paul Lee and S. Min Chun.
Courses aren't the only perk of coming to Regent's Summer Programs. While you're here, take time to study, rest, and grow in Regent's rich community and beautiful natural surroundings. Supplement your courses with an afternoon at the beach or a ramble through one of Vancouver's beautiful public gardens. Learn something new at a free evening lecture, explore the treasures of our Rare Book Room, or take in a weekend conference.
God extends a constant invitation for us to learn more about him and his world in all that we do. Take the opportunity to live into this invitation with Regent's Summer Programs.
