Derek Brown received his Ph.D. in New Testament Studies and Christin Origins at the University of Edinburgh in 2011. His doctoral dissertation looked at the references to Satan in the Pauline letters and will soon be published by Mohr Siebeck in the WUNT II series. Previous to this he earned an MA at Regent College (New Testament Studies) and a BSc at the University of Oregon (Religious Studies). He has taught biblical studies courses at the University of Edinburgh, Kilns College in Oregon, and Eston College in Saskatchewan. Derek is currently an Academic Editor at Lexham Press in Bellingham, Washington. In addition to a love for biblical studies, he enjoys gardening, hikes, reading poetry, and shared meals.
