Pastor's Address by Dr. Jim Houston: The Pastor's Identity as Being "In Christ"
Pastors are invited to join us at this morning address, in which Dr. Jim Houston will critique the modern obsession with professional identity. We will explore how far Confucian culture still influences social hierarchy in the local church. We will also consider where revision is needed in our denominational doctrinal ecclesiology. What new freedoms are needed locally to practice the priesthood of all believers? Join us as we ask whether and how the Pauline identity of being "in Christ" remains applicable to our contemporary lives as Christians. We look forward to engaging in much discussion and dialogue around these issues.
Public Address Series with Dr. Jim Houston
Please join us as Dr. Jim Houston explains how the Triune God empowers us to live out our Christian identity more fully in every sphere of life. All are invited to attend this series of four public addresses.
