Earlier this week, Regent College hosted a birthday celebration for Dr. Packer in association with St. John's Vancouver Anglican Church. Treats, tributes, and a live jazz band marked the occasion. The festivities culminated with the announcement of a special festschrift edition of CRUX honouring Dr. Packer's ongoing contributions to the church and the academy.
In lieu of gifts, Dr. Packer's colleagues, friends, and former students have established a scholarship in his name. Those who wish to contribute to the fund are invited to donate online. Questions regarding the fund may be directed to Julie Lane Gay at [email protected].
